Write Up Appertaining To Books Hard Up, Ardon #1
If i am honest, I feel the characters were weak, all except Dexter and the story dragged out a little. Putting that aside, haven't laughed this much at a book in ages, so well worth the read

Never read a book where the writer writes with so little fear. Although the story is a boarder-line read for me, it was refreshingly funny from start to finish and risky to the limits. Loved it, loved the characters, don't think I have laughed out loud so much !!

This is the kind of juvenile humour I read as a 17 year old. I only read it because a lot of books by this author appear on Listopias Best Humorous books list. The saga of Malcolm is funny in places, but fairly predictable and certainly has no place on a list of best humorous books. Not my type of humour any more and unlikely to read any more books by this author.

Don't read many comedies, but this one is a little bit special

Wasn't really a reader until this book was somewhat forced into my hand by my partner. What can I say? I've haven't much experience in reading books, but if they are all as good as this, maybe it should be something I do more often. What a story, what a laugh, what characters !! It was just like watching a film on my own in the privacy of a book. Amazing, amazing, amazing, Jimmy Perrin you are a superstar and the reason I now want to read books

Malcolm and Dexter make a wonderful couple, although they simply shouldn't be friends in the first place. I must have laughed out loud at least four times during this read and giggled a few hundred times more. Certainly a funny book, certainly a writer pushing comedy to the limit. The part with the jam wasn't it's finest moment, but again certainly strange enough to remember, then never forget. Very enjoyable read

Laughed and laughed and laughed
